My husband and I came to Malta for our Honeymoon. We had a lovely welcome from the Hotel owner Tony who was just absolutely wonderful! We stayed in Standard double... read more room with balcony - it was spacious and very comfortable. This time we only stayed for 2 nights but will come back for sure! Every corner and nook in this hotel has been thought out, you can feel the heart and thought that has gone into it. For us, it was the little details here and there, lots of art around the place that made the experience + the hotel owner, who made sure our honeymoon was truly a honeymoon. There are many great restaurants only walking distance from the hotel. This place isn't just somewhere to stay, it is a place to experience. The rooftop had AMAZING views over the harbor where we took our breakfasts and enjoyed evening wine. The rooftop floor felt like home, so many good choices of wine and other drinks right at your disposal. In quite few places around the hotel there was a message " Guests are welcome, but we may part as friends" - I second that message! THANK YOU TONY, we will see again! More

The location is great - just a few minutes from the ferry to Valetta and there are many restaurants & cafes within walking distance. The house itself is a piece of art (filled with a lot of art), beautifully renovated and with so many little details & quirks to explore. Our room (464) was lovey & really cozy. An absolute highlight is the one rooftop penthouse & terrace with a beautiful view of Valetta, a well stocked honesty bar and there even is a little hot tub (that we used extensively).
Tony, the owner, really is the heart and soul of this place and he made our stay a really memorable one. THANKS - we hope to be back one day 🙂

I called BOCO late one night when I got in and found I wasn't able to stay at the Airbnb I'd reserved. Tony picked up and agreed to take me... read more in, even giving me a discounted rate. Even though it was after 10pm, he immediately started getting a room ready for me. In the meantime, he took me up to the rooftop and gave me a drink (free of charge!) because he could tell I needed it. The room was ready soon after and, once he explained everything to me, including how to put in my complimentary breakfast request, he left me to finally get some rest. I took a much needed shower with water that was the perfect temperature (and I'm very picky! I am constantly changing the water temperature during my showers) slept amazingly in the comfortable bed, and woke up to a stunning view from my private balcony before having a truly fresh and delicious orange juice as part of breakfast the next morning. Vanessa, who makes breakfast, is also super sweet. The hotel is also very centrally located, an easy and quick walk from beautiful sites and a number of eateries.
They really went above and beyond for me. It is obvious to me that a lot of thought goes into making everyone's experience at BOCO pleasant and that Tony truly cares about each of his guests and wants them to feel well-welcomed and looked after. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Tony and Vanessa, or how fortunate I feel to have found BOCO.
