There is no better place to be on Easter Sunday than BOCO Boutique. Not just because we are in a community that celebrates this time of the year like no other village on the island, but also because the house is located right in the centre of all the festivities.
After the sombre procession on Good Friday that routes through Triq l-Oratorju pausing every few minutes in front of BOCO Boutique, the same street is filled with cheer and colour to celebrate Easter.
Another procession, this time carrying the statue of the Risen Lord is preceded by a marching band and welcomed by colourful confetti. Mind you, this is no regular procession; as the hill gets steep, the daring men carrying the procession statue on their shoulders take a sprint and bring the much-venerated figure of Christ to the hilltop in one full race amongst cheer and applause.
This is what you can expect when staying at BOCO Boutique in Cospicua, Malta
